Pachisi- guide to a fun gaming experience.

In our design class, Chad, Joe and myself have just presented an assigned game, my assigned game was called "pachisi", pachisi is an old Indian games created a long time ago. Pachisi is played on a cross and circle board, The game is very popular in India, it is said to be the national game of India. the main objective of the game is to take all of your four pieces and take them along the board to the “home” area, the first player to get all of his/her pieces home wins.
When you are starting to play pachisi, you start in a section, and you have to roll a five on the die to get out of that area, when you roll a five you continue your way along the board, along the way you are going to come across you opponents pieces, if you land on the same spot as your opponents piece, you "eat" your oppents peice and that piece has to start over at where it started.
I hope this gives you some sort of explanation to play the game, i have included a link that will provide a website where you can play the game of pachisi.
